Use this assignment as a way for students to reflect on the character of Boo Radley in the novel To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

This assignment is designed to be used after reading the first 6 chapters, but could also be used at any point after chapter 6 in the novel. Students will learn a great deal about Boo from many different sources. The assignment gets them to take on the role of a psychiatrist and use all that information to write up a "Psychiatric Report" using evidence from the novel for support. 

This is an excellent activity to reflect on after the novel is done, as students will realize their initial evaluation of Boo is not entirely accurate as it is based mostly on town gossip.
