WONDER HASHTAG OF THE WEEK:
→ Use this classroom interactive bulletin board display to brighten up your classroom while you read Wonder by R.J. Palacio. Create a "Wonder Hashtag of The Week/Day" board that includes inspiring quotes from the novel. The hashtag (#) will tell your students which character said the quote.

Students pretend to check Justin’s Internet history and discuss which websites he has visited to demonstrate character analysis.

Students complete a short activity to empathize with someone who is deaf or has hearing loss.
PART 6 MIRANDA WONDER SELF-PORTRAITS:
Students create a Wonder Self Portrait in the style of the illustrations used in the novel.

ASTRONAUT HELMET SYMBOLISM:
Students send a precept postcard to Mr. Browne, examine the astronaut helmet as a symbol, and show their understanding of the plot diagram.
