HOLES ACTIVITY PALINDROME
The main character of Louis Sachar's novel, Holes, has a very interesting name: Stanley Yelnats! This is an interesting name because it is a palindrome. A palindrome is a word that is read the same way forward as it is backward!
Show your students other palindromes with this fun, ready-to-use activity! Students will get clues to help them try to guess words that are palindromes. For example, their clue might be "You might see a checkered flag wave when this vehicle crosses the finish line."
