NOVEL ASSIGNMENT BOOK JACKET BLURB WRITING

Have your students complete this fun assignment after reading any novel or short story. Students create the back of the book jacket by selecting a quote to hook potential readers, writing an engaging introduction to the plot (without spoilers!), and introducing the author! Tell students that their work has to be completely original and they cannot use the actual book jacket for reference (if it is a novel).

All you have to do is print and you have a ready-made assignment that your students will love!
