Transport your students back to the world of Ancient Greece with this ready-to-use Greek Gods Mythology Reading Digital and Print Unit Bundle.

The unit comes with absolutely everything you need to teach students about the most important Greek gods in ancient Greek mythology. With engaging, easy-to-understand readings on 15 Greek gods, corresponding self-grading, quizzes, digital activities, and a final creative project, you'll have everything you need.

This is a bundle of both our digital and print units. The digital unit is meant to be completed on the computer. This works well with distance learning, 1:1 classrooms, remote teaching, Google Classroom, or online education. The print version can be printed for traditional use within the classroom.

Teacher Google Slides and PPT Presentations: Use these teacher presentations to guide your lessons. Each slideshow includes pre-reading discussion questions to spark student interest in the god you are introducing, prompts to initiate reading and completing assignments, and detailed answer keys for the assignment to review responses as a whole class.  With more than 122 slides, you will feel confident guiding students through each of the lessons.

Greek Gods Digital and Print Articles: The unit includes 15 digital and print articles, each focusing on one of the Greek gods or goddesses. The articles were written to hook students in with the most fascinating information about each of the gods. Integrated within each of the articles are popular Greek myths that will engage even your most reluctant readers.

Digital & Print Reading Comprehension Quizzes: Check your students' understanding with either the 15 print-ready quizzes or the self-grading Google Forms option. Each quiz includes 10 multiple-choice questions related to the text. The questions were designed to check student comprehension. The print version has an included answer key, and the answers keys are already built into the Google Forms version, so no grading required!

Skills-Based Digital and Print Response Assignments: Dive deeper into analyzing the text and making connections with these 15 digital and print skills-based assignments related to each of the readings.  Students will have to look for text evidence, make text connections (self, text, world), examine language, respond creatively, and much more. Detailed answer keys are provided for reference and are also included in the teacher presentations.

Final Creative Digital and Print Project: Newspaper of the Gods: Students will imagine that they are a journalist in ancient Greece, and are responsible for sharing the news of the day with all the Greek gods and goddesses on Mt. Olympus. Students will integrate they have learned throughout the unit to create a newspaper headline article, local news article, a special interview, and an advice column. Pre-writing digital and print organizers and templates are included with the project.
