Correcting Grammar Errors in Emails Digital Assignments is a fun, practical, and relevant way to get middle or high school ELA students to practice and develop their grammar skills. With the digital Grammar Email Fail activity, students will find and correct common grammatical errors while providing explanations for why each grammar mistake is wrong. The activity includes 40 digital assignments with emails that each contain five grammar errors that students must identify and correct before explaining the reason it is wrong in the provided spaces. Detailed answer keys in Google Slides format are included for easy review.
This is a Google-compatible activity, and students complete all the work on the computer. This works well with distance learning, 1:1 classrooms, remote teaching, Google Classroom, or for online education.

Introduce one of the digital grammar fail assignments to your class per week for 40 weeks as bell-ringers or weekly assignments. Everyone finds the errors on their own (or you can do it in groups or pairs). Then, you can use the Google Slides answer keys to review it together as a class.
