First Day of School Digital Activity - Back to School Writing to My Future Self: Start your back to school with this engaging digital assignment designed to foster self-reflection and goal-setting. Students will respond to detailed prompts that they will answer for their future selves. The prompting digital questions are detailed, so students will know exactly what they can include in each section. At the end of the course or school year, email this back to your students to see how they have changed!
This is a digital resource, and students complete all the work on the computer. This works well with distance learning, 1:1 classrooms, remote teaching, Google Classroom, or online education.

➡️ Writing to My Future Self Digital Assignment: Students will complete this one-slide assignment on the first day of school to share information about themselves, their world, their interests, and their goals. Each section includes prompting digital questions that will guide students in what to include. At the end of the course or school year, redistribute this to students to see how they have changed!
➡️ Letter to My Future Self Digital Template: After students have completed the pre-writing, have them compile their information into a letter to their future selves. At the end of the course or school year, send this to students to see how they have changed!
