DIGITAL FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE BELL RINGERS ACTIVITY
Help your students have a strong understanding of figurative language by using this digital, Google compatible activity that can last the whole year! Students color code a paragraph that contains figurative language and attempt to find examples of metaphor, simile, oxymoron, personification, alliteration, or onomatopoeia.
This is a Google resource and students complete all the work on the computer. This works well with distance learning, 1:1 classrooms, remote teaching, Google Classroom, or online education.
Please note that this is also included in Volume 3 of my bell-ringer sets.
WHAT TEACHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE PRINT VERSION OF THIS RESOURCE:
♥ I use a lot of different things for bell work/bell ringers. I switch out every five weeks or so with skills that range from vocabulary, writings strategy reviews, grammar, and different literature skills. My students cannot wait until we rotate back to this. It's fun and it reviews figurative language that we sometimes don't have time to in our normal class time.
♥ The lessons, supports, and visuals you create make my day so stress free. The kids are always engaged!
♥ This is a great product! I will continue to use it throughout the year as warm-up in class to review figurative language! Quality, colorful, love it!
♥ My students are able to identify figurative language easier now!
INCLUDED IN YOUR PURCHASE:
