Back to School Activity - Get to Know Me Fortune Teller is a fun and creative first-week activity that will not only keep your students engaged on the first day of school but will also help them get to know each other. This get to know me fortune teller is a hands-on craft that can easily be folded by your students and provides a unique and creative way for students to learn about each other in a low-pressure way. Simply print out the pages, have students fill out the flaps with the answers to questions about them and fold them, and play the game with their peers to learn all about them!

➡️ Fortune Teller Folding and Activity Instructions: Share the included folding instructions with students to help them quickly and easily fold their fortune tellers! There are photos included, so students will feel totally confident preparing for this back to school activity. Also included are teacher instructions to help facilitate this get to know me activity.
➡️ Back to School Fortune Teller Activity: This color and black and white fortune teller includes questions that students can answer about themselves on the appropriate flap. They might share how many siblings they have, their favorite movie, what they want to be when they are older etc. Lines are provided to guide students in the folding process.
How to Use This Back to School Activity in Your Classroom:
Each student will receive a back to school get to know me fortune teller page with questions about themselves. On the appropriate flaps, students will fill in the answers. Then, they will use the folding instructions to fold their paper fortune teller!
Students are now ready to play the game! Have them take turns playing the game with a partner where they move the fortune teller back and forth according to the game instructions. Students will try to guess the answers to the questions, opening the flap to reveal if they are correct. This process is repeated as students go around the room learning about different classmates!
