➡️ 30 Back To School Activity Snowball Introductions Sheets: Students receive one of 30 unique snowball introduction pages, each featuring three different get to know you prompts. After writing their responses, students crumple the paper into a “snowball” and toss it to the front of the room for classmates to pick up. The questions are designed to be fun, thoughtful, and easy for all students to answer, helping spark conversation and build connections right away. Sample prompts include:

How This Back To School Activity First Day Icebreaker Works:

Distribute the 30 unique pages to your students randomly so each student receives a different sheet with three different questions.
- Students begin by completing the first question for 3–4 minutes and writing their name on the page.

Then the fun begins. Students crumple their paper into a “snowball” and toss it to the front of the classroom. Everyone goes up to the front, grabs a different snowball, and returns to their seat.
- Next, students smooth out the paper, answer the second question, and add their name. This process is repeated one more time so all three questions are completed.
- Now it’s time for attendance. As each name is called, the student holding that paper raises their hand and shares one of the facts written about that person with the class. By the end, there will be three different facts shared about each student.
After attendance is finished, the class knows much more about one another—and as a bonus, every student has participated in a fun, low-pressure way on the very first day of school.
