INTERACTIVE SHORT STORY OR NOVEL ASSIGNMENT: EXPLODING READING BOX
Forget assigning a boring book report or reading response after reading a novel or short story. The exploding reading box is a fun, interactive assignment that is a great alternative, and it can be used with ANY reading.
HOW IT WORKS
• Print the templates out for students and have them complete all the work on the pages based on the information from their reading.
• Use the Powerpoint presentation or printable instructions to show students how to cut and fold their box.
• The final product will be a paper box. When the lid is removed, the sides of the box will "explode" and show your students' understanding of their reading.
INCLUDED IN YOUR PURCHASE
→ Ready-To-Use templates for students to use (4 pages) that allow them to examine character, theme, conflict, setting, mood, and more!
→ A Powerpoint presentation to easily guide students through the folding process.
→ A printable information sheet on how to fold the box.
