FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE BELL RINGERS

These 23 bell-ringers are an excellent way to get your students to practice writing, locating, and analyzing figurative language! All you have to do is choose your bell ringer for the day, put it up on the screen, and students get to work as soon as they enter the classroom! This is a great addition to a poetry unit where students will be using this language often.

Each slide ask students to complete a task related to the following figurative devices:
