Thanksgiving Persuasive Writing Assignment - Turkey Writes a Letter to Farmer is a fun and creative way to improve your students' persuasive writing with a Thanksgiving twist. Students will adopt the role of a turkey who must write a letter convincing the farmer not to eat him for Thanksgiving dinner. Use the included slideshow presentation to teach students about how to write using persuasive techniques and have them use the pre-writing graphic organizer and good copy templates to craft their perfect persuasive piece!
