APRIL FOOLS' DAY PRANKS IN HISTORY NON FICTION READING COMPREHENSION

The April Fools’ Day pranks in history nonfiction reading comprehension resource is the perfect way to incorporate the spirit of April Fools’ Day in the classroom while developing your students’ reading skills at the same time. The resource includes 5 high-interest articles that outline 5 epic April Fools’ Day pranks from history, student response assignments, and teacher slides to guide the lesson.

How it works:

Students will read 5 high-interest nonfiction articles about epic pranks in history. They will then complete the corresponding reading comprehension questions and tasks to show their understanding of the articles using text evidence where appropriate. Have students complete the questions in groups before going over the answers as a whole class using the included presentation.
