FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL QUESTIONS

Make your first day back to school easy with this ready-to-use assignment. I created these questions as a way of getting to know my students personally and academically at the beginning of each year/ semester. It is 18 questions long, and after I read their responses I always have a better understanding of where they are coming from. This can be done as a quiet in class assignment, or as homework.

SAMPLE QUESTIONS:

9.What would you like to accomplish academically this school year? Explain

10.What are your hobbies/interests? Explain why you choose these hobbies/interests.

11.What previous achievements have inspired you in the past to do well this year? Example: praise, awards, trophies, certificates, etc.

Please Note: These questions are not set up like a quick survey, they are short answer questions where students write their answers.
